Happy 3 Week Birthday S&S!!!

I can't believe that it's their actual due date too! I cannot imagine it having been a single pregnancy & having to go another 3 weeks!!!! :O

We went for our first walk tonight. Siena was wide awake, just lookin around, while Sara slept through the whole thing. Despite how short it was, it was so nice to get outside. I think I've only left the house 3x in almost a week & I'm going a bit stir crazy. Plus.... I haven't been able to go for a walk since before January!!!! I may take them for a long one tomorrow. We'll see if that happens.

Thanks to everyone that has signed up to bring us dinner. And especially Jen for organizing. :) It's such a huge help & we really appreciate it! XOXO

The past few nights have gone well & we've been getting some sleep. (Not the 8-9 hrs like we used to tho!! lol) But this evening has been challenging. It's already 11:30 & I'm still up feeding babies (while typing) so I'm worried how the rest of the night's gonna go..... I'm trying to be a nice wife by letting Jeff get some sleep, but I'm countin the hours til the Night Nanny comes tomorrow night!!!!! I think I'm doing a good job, but it's nights like these that I just have to cry a little & repeat "It will get easier. It will get easier."

Kristen,
You are doing an awesome job!
This too shall pass (and you'll wonder where the time has gone)

Remember my favorite poem:

Mother, oh Mother, come shake out your cloth
Empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
Hang out the washing and butter the bread,
Sew on a button and make up a bed.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She's up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.

Oh, I've grown shiftless as Little Boy Blue
(lullaby, rock-a-bye, Lullaby loo).
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due
(pat-a-cake, darling, and peek-peek-a-boo).
The shopping is not done and there's nothing for stew
And out in the yard there is a hullabaloo.
But I'm playing "Kanga" and this is my "Roo."
Look! Aren't his eyes the most wonderful hue?
(lullaby, rock-a-bye, lullaby loo).

The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.
