Celebrating 5 Years of Marriage in the City We Fell in Love

We had the greatest weekend, although it went so fast. We arrived Friday around 11, dropped of our bags & went straight to our favorite sandwich place. It's funny cuz it's in a food court type place in a movie theatre complex but we love it!! It was a gorgeous day! It's not often that it's 70 degrees & not a cloud in the sky in San Francisco.

We did a lot of walking around & shopping. We then went by a place I had read about called Canteen for a drink.

After we got ready to go out for our anniversary dinner, we went to the Four Seasons for a drink. I got a yummy Lychee Martini & Jeff got a Pomegranite one. It was beautiful hotel.

We then went to North Beach, known for it's amazing Italian restaurants. We went to a place we had loved before & it was unfortunately a little dissapointing but we still had a great time. Since we had gotten up before 6am & had such a big day on Sat., we went home somewhat early.

Saturday was another gorgeous day & we got into Napa around 11ish. Here's a couple pics from our fantastic day.
We wanted to do something a little different & not just go to wineries so we went to Mumm for champagne, which was so good! You got to sit down & be served which was also nice.

This was where we picnic'd.

This place was SO great. They only made Ports- all yummy. Dollar bills were hung everywhere & they're all going to be taken down soon & given to charity. Jeff guess-timated there was maybe $5000 in there. It was a really fun place.

We then drove back to the city & got ready to meet our friends, Frank & Jen, for dinner. We sadly hadn't seen them for 5 years, since our wedding!! :-0 We met them at our favorite restaurant ChaChaCha. They have excellent sangria & the food is so good! Although it was really loud in there, we had such a great time catching up with them. :-)

One of the best parts about our trip was that slept in on Sunday & slept 9 1/2 hrs!!! :-) Sunday was so nice & relaxing. We had breakfast, then went & saw "Slumdog Millionaire". It was such a clever movie & I can see why it's winning so many awards. By the time we walked back to our hotel, it was time to go home. We had such an amazing time together & know how important it is for us to take that time to strenghten our marriage. That's such an important factor in us raising happy, healthy children. We missed the girls SO much & called home twice a day, but knew they were having a great time with Grandma & Grandpa. I couldn't get home from that airport fast enough to snuggle with both of them! Xoxo
