Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

Josh and Jake
My little snow bunnies & me. (Cute hats made by Auntie Janet while I was prego)
The girls loved looking out the window. Love this pic.
We made a great dinner that night- Mom brought her famous lasagna, which Jeff actually shared w/ everyone! I also re-created Creme Brulee martini's that I had had at Opah & they were fabulous. After we put the girls to bed, the boys watched a movie, while we had our usual card playing fun.
Mmmm....
46 years and counting....
On Saturday, we had more fun sledding & then went downtown. It's so great down there. Lots of little stores, outlets, the gorgeous lake, etc....
Love this pic despite the parking lot in the background!!
I wish Mom & the kids were also in this.
As always, Jake was lovin on his cousins.
Sara was not too fond of her snowsuit but they looked adorable!!
Saturday night we ordered in Chinese food, played more cards, Tripoly & even watched a movie. We all have such a great time together, this has got to become an annual trip!

Happy 9 Month Birthday Big Girls!!!
They hadn't been to the Dr. since their 6 month appt so we couldn't wait to see how much they weighed & their length's. (Info to follow.) They were tested for anemia & results came in a little low so they had to go today to get a full blood panel. Let me tell you how hard this was for my Mom & I. I had to hold them tight & have their arms held down, which was heartbreaking. Especially when they kept having to re-adjust the needle on Sara. :-0 It actually went a little better than we had anticipated so that was good. I'm not too worried about the results. They get SOOO much iron in their formula, rice cereal, etc... But, just in case, say a prayer for them to ensure they're okay. Xoxo

Celebrating 5 Years of Marriage in the City We Fell in Love
This place was SO great. They only made Ports- all yummy. Dollar bills were hung everywhere & they're all going to be taken down soon & given to charity. Jeff guess-timated there was maybe $5000 in there. It was a really fun place.
We then drove back to the city & got ready to meet our friends, Frank & Jen, for dinner. We sadly hadn't seen them for 5 years, since our wedding!! :-0 We met them at our favorite restaurant ChaChaCha. They have excellent sangria & the food is so good! Although it was really loud in there, we had such a great time catching up with them. :-)
One of the best parts about our trip was that slept in on Sunday & slept 9 1/2 hrs!!! :-) Sunday was so nice & relaxing. We had breakfast, then went & saw "Slumdog Millionaire". It was such a clever movie & I can see why it's winning so many awards. By the time we walked back to our hotel, it was time to go home. We had such an amazing time together & know how important it is for us to take that time to strenghten our marriage. That's such an important factor in us raising happy, healthy children. We missed the girls SO much & called home twice a day, but knew they were having a great time with Grandma & Grandpa. I couldn't get home from that airport fast enough to snuggle with both of them! Xoxo

What I Love About My Hubby After 5 Years of Marriage
- How he took care of me, loved me & helped me fight cancer, fertility issues, 14 weeks of bedrest & post c-section surgery
- I still get flowers for no reason
- His love for cookies- it's really funny
- Our mutual love for wine (AND food!!)
- How much fun we have on vacation together (and that he throws his frugalness out the window & just wants to have a great time!)
- His graying hair than he teases is being caused by me! (And now the other 2 women in the house. lol)
- What an INCREDIBLE father he is. He stepped in from moment one & will do anything.
- How freely gives me my alone time or time with w/ my girlfriends.
- How hard he works so I can be a Stay-At-Home-Mom
- His beautiful blue eyes
- How much he loves his daughters
- How together we made it through the 1st few months of taking care of twinfants!
- His daily phone call to check in & make sure S&S aren't ganging up on me too bad
There's so many more but I'll leave it at that. I'm blessed for so many reasons but one of the biggest is that this wonderful man chose ME to spend his life with. Happy 5 Year Anniversary, Baby!

Golden Gate, Here We Come!!!!
So, I finally got another video of Siena crawling (albeit short), but it's only fair she's on here too! She does the army-crawl version, but it still gets her everywhere she wants to go!
Okay, so I already have another funny video to share. I gave the girls chicken for the 1st time & it did not go over well. Lol Sara is my really good eater & so far has only not liked avocados (weird like her Daddy) but she seems to also HATE chicken. Don't think Siena is too fond of it either. It was from a jar so I'm hoping she'll change her mind & I won't have to start making that too!! (Although, I don't blame her. Ewww....) I'm having a hard time downloading this also, so I'll attach a link instead. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8VLw2VJnCE
